Before ABBA Knowing Me Knowing You had its real title, the song went through two working names during production.
The first working title was "Ring It In."
That was replaced during the sessions with "Number One, Number One."
Stig Anderson, the band's manager and a credited co-writer, came up with the phrase "Knowing Me, Knowing You" to replace it.
Bjorn Ulvaeus then built the actual lyrics around that title.
He has said he pictured a house being emptied, with boxes standing against bare walls, to capture a relationship falling apart.
